upperclassman rush

There are separate quotas for upper classmen so yes it kinda helps but also no it can kinda be unhelpful. It just depends on the year and how many upperclassmen are rushing and if they all want the same house as you or not. From my experience, rushing as a senior doesnt really yield the best outcomes because there are only x amount of spots, so sometimes a sorority exec team might favor giving that spot to a sophomore/junior who will have more than one semester with the sorority.

the best thing is to just not really worry about it! You WILL get in a house if you keep an open mind and ~maximize your options~. Vanderbilt is full of amazing women so each house has amazing women!!! Run your own race, be genuine, make the most out of your time in each house, and you will end up where you are supposed to :)
