yes they do and youll find out if you get invited. Usually NOLA, maybe a fun mountain weekend date party, myrtal beach (dk how to spell that hell hole lol) is a popular one even PCB sometimes. There are kinda a lot of options for a fun away formal, but nashville is usually the place where schools go in the south for formals so we are super lucky
