Sorority breakdowns
by: LostCan anyone give a brief description of each house? Like “sporty girls, mostly from NE, friendly, down to earth,” etc? I feel like everyone is on best behavior during rush and they all kind of blend together. Idrc which is “the best” but I do care about fit. I’m attractive, fit and like to dress nice, but I’m probably not fitting in at a sorority full of rich southern girls.

They aren’t all that different… all girls that go to vandy are the same and there’s outliers to each org
kappa-rich, hot, northeast/la (friendgroups)
theta-^ but south (friend groups)
tri delt- rly accomplished girls, put together clean girls (random assortment)
kd-jappy, wants to be kappa, scandalous (friend groups)
piphi-chill stoner girl vibe (random assortment)
chi o- missed mark on theta, religious, fake blonde, kinda south (friendgroups)
zeta-self proclaimed quirky, cheerleaders but also blair kids (random assortment)
adpi— stem girlies, seem to be close friends, non problematic
axo— good sisterhood

what is meant by “friend groups” (kappa theta kd chio)? like they take entire friend groups instead of individuals or ?

Like someone said above, there are no major differences in these chapters in terms of geographical location they're pulling from, how they dress, or how "fit" they are. Anyone that tells you there are major differences other than personality is lying to you.

As someone not in a sorority with friends in most of them, I’d disagree. Theta and Kappa may “win” because frat guys think they’re the coolest but (in my opinion no one get attacked) their sisterhoods are the weakest. If you’re looking for fun, genuine girls, KD and Chi O are probably your best bet.
