Does it matter what sorority youre in?
by: QuestionHeyyyy I’m transferring to vandy this fall, and I’ve already been initiated into a sorority. It was the top sorority at my old school (USD) but I hear it’s a bottom one at vandy. Since I’m already initiated I can’t join a different one. Does it really matter which sorority you’re in or is it that you’ll have fun and be invited to things if you’re a likable/pretty girl? I’m lowkey worried that I won’t have fun pls help thx

lol. if you really were top sorority material don’t bother joining a bottom tier chapter at vanderbilt. try and make friends with the kappas and thetas and go to stuff with them. you won’t be able to go to your own date parties but nothing else will really be different tbh

Girl you will be a junior. WTF does it matter. As a girl not even in a sorority I go to the same places the girls on Kappa and Theta go. You can too. Also, i’ll just say if you are not in their sorority, being friends with Kappa and Theta girls is really hard. But then again it’s whatever you decide but just saying you don’t need to be around these girls to have fun. Plus i have friends in the bottom tier sorority girls, much nicer than the other girls but it’s up to you.

JHC - if you’re a junior you are 21 years old (or almost). If joining a sorority is the only way you know how to make friends, you’re going to have a hard time in the real world. That being said, the AXO’s here are terrific and great friend material. If you’re not interested - whatever. You do you.

AXO girls are nice. please don’t listen to people still stuck in high school. If you don’t want to join it don’t, but the ranks here do not matter at all.
