how to really pick a frat house

let me start this off by saying what i did when i was rushing. i was offered bids at pretty much every frat (i didn't bother rushing the bottom houses like zbt, pike, ato, etc. so i didn't get bids there). i was offered bids with dke, ksig, sig chi, snu, and ka and ended up joining snu. now i know a lot of you may be like "why on earth would you join snu if you had a dke/ksig/etc. bid?" and I'll admit that's a pretty fair question to have. the reason i did it was because being a guy in a solid mid tier house when you have a personality that can get you a bid in a top house is amazing. the rest of your fraternity brothers aren't as socially capable as you so there is little to no competition when it comes to hooking up with girls at your functions (big fish in a small pond) and that's why my body count as a sophomore in college is already above 35. plus, being in a solid mid tier fraternity means that you still do get a decent amount of girls from top houses to show up so the overall party experience isn't that different in all reality.
