Is KA hate Legitimate?
by: Froshie BabyAs a frosh rushing is there a legit reason KA gets hate? Been around there and it seems like a fine mid tier but a lot of rankings put it bottom bottom. Is there a legit reason? Are they sus?

I'd do some reading on the history of KA; till recently they had a cannon pointed towards the north in their basement which is like part of their national bylaws as a requirement. The national org quite literally worships the confederacy and while I think our KA chapter is definitely better (they tried to have nationals remove the offciial designation of Robert E Lee as the org's "spiritual leader") the national org and lots of other chapters voted them down at their national convention. I've had Black friends rush and a couple have gotten bids but none have accepted cause of the association with KA. So that's really your call - they're a fine group of guys but like the organization itself is super problematic and there are better frats that aren't literally tied to slavery to rush.
