Dke going to be SAE next year?

To be frank this a good point, they are a historic chapter here, and many of the alumni deserve respect and a solid house here. But do you guys really think you’ll be the ones to recolonize? You don’t think the people in charge of Greek life here won’t have a say in how SAE comes back, and they…. like you? I’m genuinely wondering. I know this sucks for y’all rn but be real with yourselves, or at least don’t tell rushes it’s happening when u have no idea because that’s not fair.

it wasn’t shut down from the school. nationals can whoever they want recolonize their frat as long as they are eligible from vanderbilt standards. it was beta nationals that was looking for non fratty guys. they even made it a dry house (even during tailgates) so that they wouldn’t get any dke guys

‘Twas shut down by beta nationals, idiot. Beta is now a dry frat nationally after the beta guy from Pen State died. Our school Vandy has absolutely 0 say in if a group of Guys can recolonize a frat or not. Nationals picks who they want.

I agree with the first part but I doubt SAE will quickly become good/upper mid. Having the castle is an advantage but it doesn’t matter how cool their house is if the founders/brothers are weird.

the fact that you think it’s up to KT or OGL shows you’re not in Greek life and/or are stupid. SAE nationals makes the calls and SAE nationals looooooooove vandy SAE. They are the second ever SAE chapter in the world. They were the highest fundraising chapter in the country for 10 years straight. The vast majority of adults on the SAE national board are Vanderbilt SAE alums. DKE will 1000% get SAE next year
