Unfair Theta Kappa Rules

I understand that OGL wants to cap the amount of girls that theta/kappa can ask back during each round of rush in order to “level the playing field” for other houses, but doesn’t that just make their recruitment processes MORE exclusive and let them hand pick the most elite PCs without any mid level girls? I feel like this rule only helps theta/kappa because then they get exclusive access to the best 60-70 girls on campus in their pledge classes every year and that continues to out these two houses on a pedestal year after year. Wouldn’t letting every house take the same amount of girls (regardless of desirability) be a more fair way to level the playing field?

all I’ve gathering from this is that DDD/KD/PiPhi and beyond don’t stand a fighting chance against theta/kappa which is not only rude but also gives more fuel to ranking fights as to which strat is closest to the coveted top houses that OGL decided for us

“Best girls” - how is that even defined anymore? C’mon. As if the quality of women is determined by which houses will take them. “Best” as defined by what??

you definitely know what we all mean by "best girls". it's everything to do with looks. money also plays a role, but it's mostly looks.

You can read about it on the npcwomen.org website. The chapters with the traditionally highest return rates have to make deeper cuts at the beginning, to give the smaller chapters and PNMs more of a chance to match up. It helps keep all chapters afloat.

I don’t think anyone was talking about AGL but it is good to know that this is a rule from NPC. So does this mean it can’t be changed at all?? I do see the side of people who believe it’s unfair for theta and kappa because they get to be even more selective
