off-campus frats

is it possible to join one of the frats that's been kicked off campus as a freshman? I personally know some guys in the supposedly top frats here and they're all the type of people that would be straight up geeds at other SEC schools. I'm totally down for greek life, but if sig chi or ksig are my only choices then I think I'd rather just do my own thing at bars on broadway.

if i was coming into vandy this year and someone told me that the frats seen as top here were full of guys like will fournier i think id also be looking for some alternatives
