indians in top frats
by: question for rushare there any indians in top frats at vandy? is it harder to get in if you are?

In the big 4 there are only a handful: a few in KA and Snu, not sure if there are any in sig chi or Ksig, maybe one or two. In general though, those four fraternities are going to be predominantly white. On the other hand, there are plenty in the other fraternities. Although Vandy fraternities are not the same as big state schools, even though no one will want to admit it, the reality is that it probably will be a little bit harder for the competitive frats. You will unfortunately likely need better connections and might have to work a little harder. Hope this helps, and maybe some other people have different perspectives.

Being a minority in a “top” fraternity, I genuinely have not felt as though I was looked at differently for being a minority. Just go in with an open mind, meet everyone and have a good time
