Fraternity open bidding

Is it true that smaller fraternities are still bidding kids for their pc? I heard snu and lambda are trying to get more kids but I might just wait for next year

SNU is doing open bidding because they got put on probation and wasn’t allowed to take new members. LXA doing open bidding because they are new to campus and in a building stage. Personally I’d recommend doing open because it’s non binding and there’s no downside
