legacies & letters of rec
by: pnmi’m an incoming freshman and was wondering how important letters of rec are/will they get you through the first round like everyone says? also do sororities even look at legacies? my mom was in a sorority but will that even matter?

Can’t hurt if your moms chapter exists at vandy. However a lot of sororities are trying to put less emphasis on legacy/ letters of rec in trying to reform Greek life so I wouldn’t worry too much. I know some chapters legacy automatically does get you through first round, not sure ab letters of rec— it’s up to nationals
