Midwest Sorority
by: !Where do most girls from the midwest/chicago/ohio area end up?? I am from Chicago and I’ve seen on here comments saying “Texas girl go Theta, NJ girls go Kappa.” What about Illinois??

The state stereotype is largely outdated. A lot of girls who went Theta this year and last year are from the Northeast, and the other sororities’s also have a pretty even mix of regions. Kappa had a large number of girls from Chicago and a small number from NY/NJ compared to years past, and Tri Delt took a lot more girls from NY/NJ than they normally do. Theta is also taking more California girls who, in the past, probably wouldve ended up in Pi Phi or Kappa.

Agreed. My sorority definitely has a stereotype of where we get our girls and this year only had 3 girls from there & 10+ girls from a region we don’t normally get. States are spread out.
