Why are there not any on campus parties?
by: WhyWhy are parties not thrown on campus anymore? I get some are on suspension, but not all. Does OGL make it a pain to register one?

The OGL capacity restrictions are a major reason, but so are guest list rules, security/bartender costs, alcohol restrictions, and a hard 2 am cutoff. Registration isn’t a huge issue. I wish there were parties on greek row more weekends, and I think relaxing at least the capacity rules could be a good step towards that. You would think OGL would want that too since they have zero control over what goes on off campus, but I guess they’re only worried about covering their ass and they’re not liable for what goes on off campus.
