vandy greek life wealth

i keep hearing that vandy kids(especially the greeks) are like super rich and spoiled. if i am upper middle class, would i be uncomfortable at vanderbilt or in a sorority? for example, my family can afford to buy me lilly pulitzer, but not alexander mcqueen. also they can't to pay 50k a year for college

no, you'll be fine. true, there are tons of very wealthy people but plenty of girls in greek life who are all over the board in terms of wealth. you might have to be extra perfect in everything else if you want, say, kappa or theta, but otherwise you're fine
