shoutout sigma chi for being great guys

by: Greek Inclusion Officer

This forum seems to have a lot of negativity about Greek life and seems to be very toxic to fraternities in general, so I wanted to bring some positivity. I just wanted to give a shoutout to the Alpha Psi chapter of Sigma Chi fraternity for their new inclusion initiative. They have pledged that for every PNM they give a bid to, they will donate one to another random PNM (provided that they drink and bool heavily and are dope and fornicate) who they have not met. Furthermore, they have agreed to stop hosting events that may be deemed as exclusionary, and instead will let anyone who wants to come to their events come. The aim of this is to increase the visibility of new members in the rush process and raise inclusion in Greek life as a whole. Finally, as of this year, sig chi has also agreed to take no pledge class at all (which follows in line with previous Sigma Chi precedent here from a few years ago) in order to stop all forms of exclusion. They will give out bids, but there will be no pledging and no new membership. Once again, shoutout to the amazing brotherhood and fraternity for their valiant and noble work in improving Greek life.

Is the reason you changed rush pong to Tuesday because 9 kids showed up last week and you didn't wanna turn into Lambda? (100 kids at Ksig btw)

KSig rush chair here. We are only bidding kids who can wear their sweatshirts in 90 degree weather and will trip with us. Can confirm that we will not be taking those Sig Chi KA DKE herbs.
