unofficial bids

Around what time do most fraternities give out unofficial bids? Or do they do this at all or do you have you have to wait until January to know? Is it just something that happens the more time you spend at a house?

You will know if you have a bid or not by January. I’ve seen bids given up from October to a few days before bid night.
