pi phi???

Ok so i know that pi phi nationally is a sorority but someone told me that at Vanderbilt it is a fraternity?? is this true? Or just a similar name? maybe they meant phi psi idk....just thinking about my options for rush next yr

So Pi Phi is a women's organization, but it's official name is "Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women". As of now (assuming you're a guy) your options are: SAE, KSig, KA, Phi Psi, FIJI, SigNu, DTD, SigChi, Pike, Phi Kap, LXA, ATO, and ZBT (in no particular order). I encourage you to look at houses based on how well you vibe with the brothers and not chase rankings.

Pi Phi was the first Greek organizationever founded for women so at the time the word ‘sorority’ didn’t even exist. They still call themselves a fraternity for women for tradition purposes
