how to meet people first semester?

so if i dont know any girls in sororities coming into vanderbilt, what’s the best way to meet them in the 1st semester?

go to their philanthropy events (every sorority has an event first semester and then there are joint ones like kick off cook off), join clubs, and frat date parties are good places to meet more people too
