There were rush dates and lists forming in the fall, especially for the most competitive sororities.The lists are fluid though as the processes for each are affected by their own practices, algorithms, and mutual selection. Do NOT be fooled by promises. No one can guarantee anyone a bid with any certainty because it’s just not that simple. There are lots of disappointed PNMs and girls in sororities who don’t know what went wrong when the PNM ended up with a different sorority invitation or bid. If you get cut by a favorite, don’t take it personally as they may be just as surprised and disappointed. Keep going to sororities that really want you for a reason and pay attention to the potential pledge class. The girls really make the sorority in the end. There were some real random results last year, but it actually worked out well for Greeklife overall.

I hear theta dirty rushes a lot too

Truth is a lot is sort of predetermined in the top sororities as far as who they want. It doesn’t mean they get them though. Girls are pulling for girls from certain schools, certain known backgrounds, and sometimes their friends. And you know it in the fall, but it’s not a guarantee.

Kappa rushes groups of PNMs who want them. A few slip through the cracks in both directions. Not too many surprises after fall overall. Kappas are happy.

Theta rushes a lot of PNMs who want Kappa and in a way dirty rush Theta as their backup. Fall rush efforts don’t match pc. Lose so many and sisterhood because rushing wrong PNMs.

Tri Delt. So many PNMs led to believe they were locks and weren’t. Many surprises so fall doesn’t necessarily mean much and don’t rush groups. Divided pc may impact.

Pi Phi rushes PNMs who want them or fit their chill rep. Fall rushing but not locked if they discover PNMs through rounds that are better fits. Focus on fit is probably why such strong sisterhood.

KD rushes hard in the fall but goes for PNMs who want the other top sororitys. They want the girls who slip through the cracks so fall rushing not necessary in the end.
