For tridelt/theta/kappa do rounds actually matter? It seems like all that matters is who you already know in the houses

Connections don’t just exist or matter in a vacuum. Bring your A game to rounds to make impressions on even more actives. Kappa, Theta, Pi Phi and Chi O are often top choices and therefore it is easier for them to start with PNMs they know. Rounds can affect where you are on the list, which could matter depending on how competitive a sorority is that particular year. For example, Kappa got most of the top of their list. Connections mattered more. Theta didn’t and didn’t meet quota. Connections weren’t as reliable for Theta. Same with Tri Delt. Pi Phi and KD had strong rushes, and Chi O focused on their audience.
