If you have a family friend/family member/aunt/cousin who was in theta, should you have them write a rec?

Recs matter to some houses and don't at others. If it's a family member close enough to make you a legacy that does actually matter and you should make sure you put that on registration forms. If not then I mean the worst that happens is people know your name before rush.
