The only sure things are PNMs with active in-house relatives and legacies in later rounds. Get to know as many girls as possible this semester and then maximize your options throughout rounds.

The most sought after sororities are Kappa, Theta, Tri Delt, Pi Phi and Chi O. KD also has good return rates throughout rounds as it is kept in play by PNMs rushing top houses. The others are good but rounds play a bigger role rather than connections.

And remember to put Greek life in perspective at Vandy. It’s not life. It’s one aspect of your experience and you will have friends with different letters.

It's pretty important

You won't not get in anywhere, but knowing girls helps push you through sometimes. First 2 rounds are really short and pretty superficial conversation because you only get like 5min with a girl. If she knows you/her sisters do, odds are they'll know your name/good things and will vote you up not down. If you don't know people, just try to be super engaged and as interesting as you can. Standing out goes a long way, even if it's just with energy if the conversation's lame.
