Here are the new sorority rankings based on what girls want in 2017. Not historical just current!
Top:
Kappa
Theta
Tri delt
Pi Phi
KD
Middle:
Zeta
Chi O
A Chi O
Bottom:

Who's Dreaming? Theta hasn't met quota for a couple of years now and so many wanted Kappa. This is current, not historic. Theta lost a lot of girls to other sororities and the top got bigger.

The "tiers" arent really as much of a thing anymore, but id say most people on the vanderbilt campus, if they had to give an ~order~, would still say
Kappa, theta, tri delt, pi phi, kd, chi o, zeta, adpi, axo, aopi
Just because the most recent PCs were more similar doesnt suddenly cancel out the other 2 PCs still in the sorority, and most of the houses still hang out with the same frats they always have, even if theyre becoming more similar.

If you think sae is the coolest frat, well kappa hangs out with sae a lot. If you think kappa sig is the coolest frat, then you probably want to go tri delt.
People certainly hang out with other frats/other sororities and thats totally normal, but if you go to an sae party youre still going to see (on average) a majority of kapps and thetas, and probably not as many pi phis and kds. If you have a pretty strict opinion of which frats are cool and which you want to spend time at, then your idea of which sororitys are cool will probably match up with that and those will probably be the houses that you see as being "cool"

Things are definitely changing with the last two PCs on both sides. Frats have started more groupmes and extended more invitations, and the girls in the last two PCs are all friends and hanging out together. It seems only the older PCs want to keep it the way it used to be. No one else cares and it's honestly been more fun. Theta will be fine. They just miscalculated change, but PNMs shouldn't get caught up in the past because they definitely have more options now.

OP right about current. Stop clinging to past. PNMs decided last rush. They have more say then they're given credit for.
Kappa is undisputed top choice, and will be again. The other four had a mix of girls but Tri Delt and Pi Phi attract certain types and will continue to. Theta and KD got a lot of girls who wanted Kappa. All are good but things have definitely changed.
