Unfortunately a lot of extreme posts for and against. Ignore the extremes. Anyone who keeps saying they're the hottest is probably a guy trolling because these posts always get a reaction. The truth is KD is a great sorority. Who cares if girls ranked them first or second on pref, because in the end they had a strong rush and pledge class. Kappa, Theta, Tri Delt, Pi Phi and KD have very similar girls socially speaking. Chi O is also competitive but attracts a specific type. Just go through rush with an open mind and pay attention to the sophomores rushing you and the potential new pledge class as the rounds progress. In the end that matters more than what random strangers on a forum say.

KD AND Theta got a lot of PNMs who were lower on Kappa's list. Theta didn't get most of the top of their list and didn't meet quota, so KD didn't get their cuts. Both were second choice on pref to many PNMs who also had Kappa. But this is stupid as girls in all of these sororities are part of friend groups who were scattered in Kappa, Theta, Tri Delt, Pi Phi and KD. And, they're still friends! KD is a great sorority, but they get trolled on GR and it's stupid.

I'm really not trying to be mean or anything because KD is a good house with some really nice girls, but it's simply not true that it's a top 3 house and "most girls' first choice." You're kind of painting KD as status-obsessed social climbers by claiming things like this, and I don't think the majority of the house is actually like that..

It's a mixed house just like all the others. Does have more social climbers though

This house has a lot of social climbers. But all the other houses have them also. Some are just as concerned with rank and others to a less or much lesser extent but they exist as well
