lol this is all so funny. there is obviously no exact ranking of the houses. it depends on who you are, what you want, and where you are from for how you see vanderbilts sorority houses.

for example, one common vanderbilt archetype is the "basic" girl who is really concerned with looks, status, and boys. for this girl, the ranking is:

kappa
theta/tridelt (depending on where they're from- the AL, TX, chicago, boarding school, etc girl would put theta above, and the CA, northeastern, east coast, etc girl would go tridelt)
kd
maybe pi phi, depending on how well they pair during rounds
maybe zeta, depending on how well they pair during rounds
and then at this point, they would drop or settle for AXO or ADPi. this girl would also probably not have a high chance at getting a bid from chi o if they didn't already know chi os.

then, there's the party girl who is secretly concerned with status but masks it by going out a lot, hanging out with a lot of different guys, hook-ups > trying to date boys. for this girl, the ranking would be:

kappa
tridelt/pi phi- both depending on how well they pair
theta
kd/zeta
this girl would have absolutely no shot at chi o, and would probably drop rather than go AXO, ADPi, or AOPi.

lastly, just for examples sake, there is the extremely involved girl. this girl maybe knew a lot of current students and active sisters before she started school, and first and foremost wants to be involved in clubs, wants to volunteer, wants to do well in school. for her, ranking is:

theta/chi o
tridelt
pi phi -depending on how well they pair, could go down
adpi/axo
zeta - depending on how well they pair, could go up
this girl would rarely go kappa, and would consider aopi if she didn't have other options.

obviously this doesn't cover every type of girl at vanderbilt, but shows how silly it is that you guys are fighting over one specific rank when obviously that's fake. HOWEVER, in terms of sororities getting exactly who they want, and getting the first girls on their list, the order is as follows:

kappa- they know the girl they want and this girl almost always wants them back. consistently gets the top of their list.
theta- also knows their girl, but due to changing demographics at vanderbilt, this girl sometimes chooses either chi o or kappa over them. regardless they tend to get the rest of the girls that everyone else wants.
chi-o: ok i am NOT ranking chi-o third overall, but no one can argue with the fact that they
consistently get the girls they want. they go after a very specific type of girl and this girl almost always chooses them.
