advice for freshman who dropped rush

With a lot of us dropping rush due to so called "falling through the cracks" and other reasons, could some upperclassmen girls, if you went through the same situation, explain how they got through the post bid day frenzy, seeing friends going out with their pc, and any other tips on getting through the next year of non-Greek life. Right now it's super tough seeing friends making plans with their pc to go to dinner or go out and not having those things to do... any advice would be extremely helpful for a lot of us.
