What are they REALLY like. And I know it's dumb to ask on a site like this one, but as I am going through recruitment I'm starting to get confused. I hear they are fun and party, and they look like they are all friends, but recruitment is so fake...I don't know what girls are putting on just for show. I obviously want to go out and have fun, but I don't want to end up some where I'm not going to be happy.
like I said...I know it's dumb to ask on a site like this, but I'm hoping people will give me a few honest answers.

Yeah, if you've checked out the threads here, you already know that you aren't likely to get clarity. There will be 40 or so women in your pledge class. Will you love them, or like them, all? Seems implausible. You've just been through the first round. Quick, superficial impressions are the norm.
If you're interested in AXO, or any other sorority, well, that's what the remaining opportunities to meet and mingle are for. You can ask whatever questions you like; you'll have to decide how candid the answers are, and how comfortable you feel. If the vibe isn't right, then it may not be a good fit for you. If you're enjoying the people you 're with, worrying about whether or not you should be seems counterproductive.
Ultimately, everyone has to go with their gut. No matter where you end up, you 'll have sisters. Lots of sisters. As in any large family, sometimes you'll love them, sometimes you'll be feeling somewhere south of that. My guess is that you'll find a great group within the larger groups that make up every sorority at Bucknell. Take your time, talk to people, see how it feels. AXO? Great! Lots of terrific people there. Some other sorority? Ditto. Chances are, you'll have opportunities to party wherever you land. Just make sure that you've identified some people you want to hang out with on Sunday afternoon, as well as Saturday night.
Best of luck!

dear is spot on. They only care about going out and not actually getting along w each other. I'm friends with some AXOs and I'm in another sorority and they are constantly telling me about other girls in their pledge class that they absolutely hate. Ask a DG or theta about their sisters and they actually love each other. AXOs are also horribly insecure and are always talking about losing weight or what guys think of them, it turns into competition between each other.

This whole thread is so wildly inaccurate that it's almost funny, but mostly sad- that some bitter, jaded chick felt the need to insult nearly 100 of the friendliest, most confident girls at this school (most likely) just because they didn't give her a bid in the past.
Absolutely insane. F ck this site.
