Dear Prospective Student: There are always unhappy people at every school - they are, however, usually not as vocal or nasty as the ones who constantly troll this website. The majority are very happy here; why not come and visit and talk to those students? I think your analysis of the people who write those bitter comments is excellent and they would probably not be happy anywhere !!

Bucknell is a cancer on society, and you would do well to recognize the culture based on what you see on Greek Rank. Greek life has a massive presence on campus, and these organizations and their members are self-absorbed, petty, and downright spiteful. Use Bucknell as a last option IMO and don't be afraid to start looking at transferring during the first semester.

I think this topic would make a very deep college essay. Write about how you looked on all the college Greek Rank pages and chose your school by finding the one school that had the least mean Greek Rank comments. Or you could go in a completely different direction and choose a school without Greek life and write about how you made that decision because you searched up Greek Rank for every school you were considering and saw so many mean comments.
