Is there a new sorority on campus

Didn’t almost half of their sorority leave last year and again this year? Does anyone know what happened??

Not sure but I think they almost doubled this year! We should really all support them. Recruitment will be hard Logistically but I believe in them!

I think there was a lot of drama that was left behind when most of the girls disaffiliated this semester. I don't think they can bounce back after this.

Yeah no my friend quit this semester and trust me the drama wasn’t them And it definitely isn’t over. She just didn’t want to deal with dumb drama anymore lol so that’s why most of them left. New girls who join will be jumping into the same thing I think

If anything they’re probably worse off now that they lost so many people. If they don’t deal with drama it won’t end it’ll just sit there. So now they’re trying to move past it without fixing the problems but people will still leave if nothing changes.

The racism runs deep, I come from class privilege but I’m not white so I never had a chance. The girls immediately dismissed me

Every time I hear a complaint about Bucknell and it’s so simplified that it’s not even accurate. Obviously things aren’t good, and each person can make a choice to change their behavior and be a part of the solution

While this is true again we need to ask how we can be part of the solution. I think its really ignorant to say that greek life "isn't doing anything to benefit people in communities that are struggling" when you don't really even know the ways greek organizations have attempted to help. OBVIOUSLY there is problem. OBVIOUSLY it is hard to break the financial barriers. But if you actually knew even an ounce of what frat/srat execs & ifc/panhel do you would know how greek life is trying to be more accessible and inclusive. Is it yet? no. I'm not saying it is. but they're at least trying to be a part of the solution.

Bruh I’m saying this as someone who has been a member of greek life and an active role in facilitating what minor changes have been made. This isn’t just someone who doesn’t know “what greek life does.” I’ve been to god knows how many greek leadership type meetings or events. And yet. We aren’t even halfway close to an acceptable amount of progress. If you’re really that butthurt someone is pointing out the obvious you need to ask yourself why you’re on the defense. It means you probably don’t see the very real barriers and issues or don’t feel personally impacted by them so any bare minimum of work that has been done to circumvent them seems perfectly adequate to you. It’s not okay

Yeah I’m just saying it’s not even a socioeconomic issue and people seem to think so. Take class differences away and there’s still a big issue there

Wow dz are u really gonna blame chi o for people not joining your organization? Again? How many PNMS were there. How many saw. How many cared. You had a president verbally harassing ex members at frat parties and campus events. Maybe you should curb her first

Everyone knows about that. Not just chi o girls. their problematic president reported it to Panhellenic. And even if I am in chi o you can’t blame harmless jokes for causing your cob process to fail. If anything how you guys handled it later was more off putting and damning. And the real reason cob is failing now is because you’re not nice people and you cause unnecessary drama. Literally no one was attacking DZ until they started acting like the victims

Im not in either and I think DZ is a fail but Chi O your not far from it so I would take a seat. Your rising seniors are a hot mess. Mean and nasty not only to others but each other. So get off your high horse. You are peoples last choice and in fact it was most of the sisters last choice. Everyone knows it.
