Just join one that makes you happy and that you find people you like. Who cares about rising or not. If you care that much you should worry more about your insecurities than getting a bid

This is so true. So much of where you will go depends on who you were friends with in your first year. If a lot of the girls you became friendly with are in a particular sorority, you will probably want to be with them because you genuinely LIKE them and not because of where the stupid fraternities rank them.
