Comment:  AGR is one of the only professional/social fraternities at UGA. We have all of the same interests as any "social" fraternity but with a "rural" emphasis. Very few of these men are from farms and have no intention to farm for a livelihood but several of their families own large tracts of farm and timber land across the South. Most AGR's will work in the vast agricultural industry whether it be in education,law,finance,business,politics,etc. Please remember that agriculture is the largest business in the state of Georgia. These men are classy, polite, honest, and certainly don't mind a good party. It is very hard to find a safe environment and have a good time in college today so try AGR as you may be surprised!
