I think people are extremely hard on Gamma Phi. I've made friends with several, and they have all been very nice, sweet girls. I think a lot of people have noticed improvements within the sorority, and feel as though the reputation of their house/rank is threatened. It doesn't need to be that way, but thanks to the ridiculousness of the dynamics of Old/New Row and The Machine, it is. For the most part, the Gamma Phis I know aren't into the pretentiousness of social climbing- they just do their own thing and enjoy each other's company. And that is what makes them unique. From the looks of it, they have an absolutely BEAUTIFUL new house, and appear to have a tight-knit sisterhood.
