If it comes down to giving you a bid or another girl with equal grades and attributes, they might come down on the side of the higher GPA. That there would only be a very slim chance of that happening. UA has a program to admit students with acceptable GPAs but unusually low ACT scores. it's part of the school's public education mission. Four years later, the weak students failed out long ago and the good students, regardless of ACT score, are graduating.
