Hi! I'm a rising sophomore and I'm still on the fence about if I should go through recruitment or not this fall (I know it's kind of late). I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what the whole process would be like for me as a sophomore. Would it be more difficult for me to get a bid because I'm older (I meet the GPA standards)? And, if I did get a bid, as a new member, would I still eat all my meals at the house? I'm living off campus in an apartment so it would be more of a hassle for me to go back and forth. Are recs really so important? Lastly, would it be weird for me to be in a pledge class with all younger girls? I wish I would have done this last year, but I didn't really understand what being in a sorority actually meant until I saw everyone on campus. It seems like a great way to get involved and meet more people! Any other advice would be great! Thanks y'all!!
