NEED SOME ADVICE

Alright, so next year I will be a freshman at Bama and definitely plan on rushing. the problem is that I'm from the north. My question is, do you think I could realistically get a bid from one of the better 2nd/3rd tier fraternities, even though I'm from the north? As of right now I'm really interested in Phi Gam, PIKE, Sigma Chi, and Theta Chi. I plan on going to a lot of their summer rush events, but I want to know if it's going to be a waste of my time to try and get a bid since I'm a "Yankee". Any advice would be much appreciated.
