Maybe just say that you are giving it a try and that you are open minded about it. You could say that many girls when you toured told you it is the best way to meet people from all over and that you just wanted to meet a lot of new people right off the bat in college. You could say "I am still not 100% about it but i'm going to give it a try". Anyone that doesn't respect that, you wouldn't want to be friends with anyway!!
