Hey, so I’ve met these girls online through Facebook on the private freshman group and all 4 of us talk pretty often and we’re supposed to room together in a suite. We never had talked about Greek life really, but recently out of nowhere 3 of them have been downing Greek life and girls in sororities. Idk what to do, I really like these girls and think we’ll get along great in person, however I fully intended on rushing and being involved in a sorority. Any advice on how to tell them I’m rushing, without them trying to discourage me from quitting or attacking me for it? I respect their decision to not join. I would just like to not feel alienated because I do want to be in a sorority. And I know I’ll make friends in the sorority I’ll join but I really wanna be friends with these girls.
