Losing legacy status will make the sororities stronger, a direct legacy will know what it takes to get a bid and will not need favoritism to get pushed along in the rush process. The question that should be asked is why should a sorority take a legacy? Just because some relative was a member doesn't mean the legacy will be contributing member.
