The original fraternities on campus are Old Row (early-mid 1800s)... DKE, SAE, KA, Phi Delt, Phi Gam, EN New Row houses came in the wave after them (late 1800s-early 1900s)... KE, DTD, OX, EX, DX, ATO, Pike, Pi Kapp, LXA, ZBT, Sig Ep. Beta came on in the mid 1900s a little later. These are your traditional Old & New Row houses. Most of Old Row has always been on University. However many ‘New Row’ houses were on University in the early 1900s as well before they moved to Jefferson in the late 60s and early 70s which is where New Row got its name. Beta for whatever reason (along with Phi Psi who doesn’t even really count) had their houses on University.
