Okay lol I’m from the Northeast (a very nice and respected section of it) and I don’t understand why you’re coming on this site raving about it. 1. This post has NOTHING literally ZERO to do with the northeast, you made it about north vs south because you wanted to 2. I honestly don’t understand what’s so fricken good about the northeast that people on this site can’t seem to stop comparing bama with the caliber of the schools there. I went to a 45k a year private prep school, one of the best in the northeast, and 80% of my graduating class went to colleges FAR oos unless they were one of the very few accepted into an ivy. There are good colleges EVERYWHERE in the U.S. and unless you’re attending an Ivy League school, there’s no dramatic perk in going to a good college in the northeast when you could find those in any part of the nation. I chose to come to Bama over other very well respected colleges because I wanted the EXPERIENCE, that’s why a lot of people come here, it’s not just scholarship money, something most people coming from oos, including myself, don’t even have. thanks.
