Subject:
what's the purpose of these rankings?

Poster Message:
I've seen so many of these rankings arguing stupid ass points. "Oh, DU is higher than Sig Pi because they mix better" or some such. I know this might go to deaf ears, but personally I'm sick of this. Most everyone in Greeklife can tell you who has the "best" mixer schedule. Sure, DU probably has the best mixer schedule, but these "rankings" are base. While joining DU or AD might be prestigious, their brotherhoods as a whole are generally asshats. Chi Phi might not mix as well as either of them, but their members are definitely nicer and more genuine. I guess what I'm saying is that, all these rankings stay the same and accomplish nothing. Mixing schedules rarely ever change drastically. How about we be bold and actually, when ranking, evaluate the sororitys and Frats based on their personality. After all, this site is basically useless to individuals already in houses (as you can't really ever leave, and you already know (or can spot the BS) of the information parroted around. The people who use this form their own opinions of houses before ever walking into many houses because "Tekashi Snitch" said that Sig Phi is upper and therefore better than Lambda or Sig Pi. I think sorties are the worst. The entirety of the Core 4 essentially has the same social schedule (in the grand scheme of things). The same could be said about Tridelt/Pi Phi (historically). Houses don't fail because their social schedules are bad. Houses fail because they have culture problems. (DX)
