I am an OOS student and I will be rushing. Being from OOS I don' t know much about the sororities so I have been looking at their websites and this is what I learned. 1. The houses are really nice! 2. They ALL have pretty girls and plain girls 3. They all work hard for their charities 4. They are ALL active in other orgs on campus 5. Many members from all groups hold leadership in other orgs 6. There are skinny girls and big girls in all the sororities. 7. They all have socials 8. They all have formals 9. Many chapters have won national awards within their organization 10. They all value good grades Then I came here and I read which sorority is the absolute tippity top of the LSU sororities and which one is the lowest, all based on opinions. I saw which sorority supposedly parties hard, and which one is losing members. I have a hard time believing that every member of one sorority is out partying every night. I have a hard time believing that one sorority is the only one that loses members. Or that in the sororities with the highest GPA those members don't also go out and blow off steam-it's college after all! I guess my point is there is a huge disconnect with what is posted here and what a curious PNM can find out by doing a little investigating on her own. I plan to give each group a chance and not pay any attention to someone else's opinion. I mean, if we all liked the same thing there would be one college, one sorority, one brand of beer, etc. How boring would that
