please disregard the comment above. The whole "tier" situation is completely stupid! Spring rush is a lot more chill and laid back compared to the week long hell in the Fall! Spring rush includes sororities that 1) did not meet their quota or 2) it is in their by-laws (which is in quite a few chapters here at LSU). If you wanted to go ahead and jump into a sorority and avoid the week long hell of rush, have a couple less options (but tbh, TAKES TONS OF STRESS OFF!), and really get to genuinely know the houses more than you would during fall rush, then i would rush in the spring. BUT, if you wanted to wait until the fall, you would be able to meet a lot of girls in the sorority beforehand, will have a couple extra options, and will have a more involved recruitment class. hope this helps! xoxo
