Will be okay IF you have several friends in houses already AND you have a good GPA, AND you have glowing rec letters. Most of the upperclassmen quotas are reserved for people who chapter members already know and like. Just because you know one girl in a house is hardly an automatic "in". Just remember that girls go out of state from Texas, and will transfer back to TCU because they miss being in Dallas. Their friends and moms' friends will have an edge over another non-established transfer, and there are plenty of legacies who tranfer back to TCU as sophomores, and they will still get more points in the selection process than a non-legacy. All the sororities are selective, and those with the highest return rates will need lots of compelling reasons to take you over their friend who decided not to rush freshman year.
