Some chapters at TCU will have well over 150 legacies go through recruitment. They can't possibly come close to taking all those girls in their pledge classes so it is not uncommon to be released by your legacy chapter. It's not that they didn't like you, or that they don't value legacies, but that logistically they can't keep them all through Pref Round because there won't be room for all of them in the pledge class. This is why you will constantly hear "keep an open mind." Find the chapter that is the best fit for you- not the best fit for your mom 25 years ago or the best fit for your sister at a completely different school.
