Things that are within your control as a PNM 1. Getting recs to every chapter on campus 2. Presenting a polished appearance 3. Having good conversation skills 4. Grades and leadership experience 5. Being friendly and polite to every sorority member in every chapter- even chapters that are not your initial favorites. Things that are not within your control: 1. How many girls that you know in each house, and to what extent that matters 2. The value that each house places on legacy status Therefore, focus on those elements in which you have total control and don't worry about the ones in which you don't.
