My daughter same thing incoming freshman great grades and great résumé. Not shy at all. Was told she was beautiful by every house had 9 invites back to getting dropped completely today. Devastated and so upsetting to get a call at 5:30 a.m. To a crying child. Boom your dumped you are 15 hours from home being led on for 3 days. Her self esteem is so low right now this is not the child I dropped off on Sunday. She is a legacy for Zeta and had several recs for others which now I know don't mean anything. In fact now she feels out of place because she thinks it was because of her race. Ugh!! This is frustrating as a parent. She just text to ask what do I do when they are all out in the quad tomorrow she's going to stayed tied up in her room to wait for her excited roommate to get back with her new letters.
