That really upset you didn't it?! I see you've mentioned numerous times on greek rank. All I can say is that if you can't afford to go, just don't go. It's silly to keep complaining. You do know that the people they really wanted there were invited to be the families's guests. It's only the hangers-on that were hit with a bill. That should have been your clue that you weren't really wanted. I guess you just hadn't been around debutantes before, and that's okay. Old money is different than new money. Now you know.
