Do you really believe that this is an actual issue, needing more time for pnm's to be at houses? For what? What, exactly, is the problem? Ole Miss already has deferred recruitment so that's a head start right there. 1/3 of all students here go Greek and sorority memberships have been bursting at the seams for years with chapter memberships among the largest in the country. Two sororities have come on in the past 6 years and are thriving, so much so that another is coming on next year. And every house has enough money for a multi-million dollar mansion. By all these measures used to assess successful recruitments, Greek life here is thriving. If you are looking for a sorority-related project to make a difference, how about taking on this terrible website, where anyone is allowed to post or comment gossip, lies, individuals' names, and get paid for not only removing these things that are supposed to be against their own site policies, but to rake in money from advertisers who buy on here because of the traffic, many of whom are schools with Greek life whose own students are getting bashe? How about brain storming a way to expose this site to the media, shame the advertisers and do some landmark good that would really make a difference?
